Caring for silver jewelry

Use a soft cloth intended for silver and work gently. Store silver dry and separately to reduce scratches and tarnish. Avoid chemical dips on pieces with stones, plating, enamel or intentionally darkened details unless the product instructions allow them. Tarnish and surface wear depend on use and storage; check the stated metal composition rather than assuming every silver colored piece is sterling silver.
